Rick and I were lucky enough to find ourselves headed back to Italy sooner than we expected to go on a cruise that departed from Venice. So, of course we had to head out early so we had an extra day in Venice so I could introduce him to one of my favorite travel destinations.

Review: Monos Carry-On Pro suitcase
I’ve been wanting to invest in some new luggage for a while as I was growing tired of my carry-on bag always being scrutinized by the gate agents or being forced to gate-check it because it’s slightly too big. I also wanted a hard shell suitcase and one with four wheels instead of two. During
Review of the Royal Caribbean Cruise: 7 Night Greece & Croatia Cruise
Rick and I are no strangers to cruising, but most of our cruising has taken place in the Caribbean as we head to the Bahamas or Mexico. We’ve been discussing cruising in different places and an opportunity presented itself this summer. Unfortunately, Go Ahead Tours canceled a trip we were planning with our friends to
Review: Le Saint Pierre Auberge
We recently went to Quebec City with my family and it was really neat seeing this mini Europe up in Canada! We got lucky that our family paid for the trip and thus booked us in a pretty sweet hotel! My family booked our stay at the four-star Le Saint Pierre Auberge and it was
Review: The Venetian Las Vegas
Last July Rick and I went to Las Vegas, as we do, but this time we brought friends along for the ride. It was a wonderful time and weekend filled with good friends, good food, and plenty of good drinks. Then, a few months later I found myself back in Las Vegas with some friends

While we didn’t visit New York City over this particular holiday, we did visit around Christmastime and booked a romantic private carriage ride that should be on any visitor’s travel itinerary if planning a romantic getaway in the city. Since
Review of NYC Ghosts tour
If you’re new to the blog, there’s one thing to know about me: I love ghost tours! I’ve gotten Rick to enjoy them so now when we travel we often look for either a ghost tour or food tour, or even better, when we can combine the two! So, going to New York City, it
Review: Ameritania at Times Square
One of our travel resolutions of 2022 was to use our credit card points for a weekend away and we settled on New York City. Once we had flights booked it was time to find a great place to stay. On our trip to New York City in early December 2022, we wanted to stay
Review of Belcanto in Lisbon
Rick and I definitely enjoy trying new foods and wines when we travel but we’re not as into food as my sister and brother-in-law are, but when we all went to Lisbon together and I looked at the Michelin-starred restaurant they were going to, I asked if we could tag along and experience our first
